Overview

Omakase is a strategy game where players compete head-to-head in a sushi-inspired duel using chopsticks and sharp strategy to claim victory. Designed for ages 6 and up, Omakase offers an elegant, fast-paced duel perfect for two players.

How to Play

Tutorial

Omakase includes an interactive tutorial. From the game start page, select “Play Tutorial” and follow the on-screen prompts through your first game. You can also view the full rules here.

Gameplay

The sushi pieces are arranged in a grid on the Board. To start, the first player places the chopsticks on one of the two empty spaces. On your turn, rotate the chopsticks to see all possible moves. Move the chopsticks in a straight line as far as you want, in any direction to collect sushi pieces. Place the chopsticks over a piece of sushi. You always collect the sushi you land on plus every matching piece along the way.

Bento Boxes

Claiming the last piece of a sushi type unlocks a special power or ‘Bento Box’ — ranging from taking an extra turn to swapping one of your sushi pieces — adding a layer of timing and tactics. You can find a full list of all bento boxes and their effects in the game rules (link above).
