How do I download a game or access a game I've purchased?Updated 3 months ago

For games purchased at www.board.fun 

You'll need to redeem your Game Download Code which was sent to the email address used at checkout (subject line: "Your Game Download Codes"). The code you’ll enter on your Board looks like this: XX-XXXX-XX.

1. Connect your Board to Wi-Fi (Settings > Wi-Fi).
2. Open the Game Store.
3. Select Redeem Download Code in the upper-right corner.
4. Enter your Game Download Code.

If you can't find your game download code, see here: www.board.fun/codes or email us at [email protected]. 

If you don't see the "Redeem Download Code" option, your Board needs a software update.

1. Connect to Wi-Fi (settings > Wi-Fi). 
2. Go to Settings > System> Check for Updates. 
   • If you don't see Check for Updates, your Board is automatically downloading the latest firmware in the background. You won't see a progress bar or any on-screen indication that the download is happening. 
   • Wait about 30 minutes for the update to complete (you can continue using your Board during this time).
3. Restart your Board.
4. Confirm your Board is running firmware version 2.0.2 or later (Settings > System).
5. Return to the Game Store, select Redeem Download Code, and enter your code.

For games purchased in the Store on Board

After you purchase a game in the game store on your Board it will automatically download to your Board. If you game does not download please email [email protected]. 

For free games or game updates

Your game pieces ship separately:

• Orders ship the next business day.
• Delivery typically takes 3-5 business days. 
• You'll receive a tracking email when your game pieces ship.
• Once your pieces arrive, enter your Game Download Code on yoru Board to access your game and start playing!

Note: For preordered games, pieces ship 1-2 weeks before launch.
