How to Play

Tutorial

The tutorial starts automatically the first time you open Chop Chop. You’ll begin in Chef School, a guided experience across three levels that teaches you the basics of preparing dishes and using each piece. You can replay the tutorial anytime by selecting Chef School from the restaurant menu.

Gameplay

Select a restaurant and jump into the kitchen. Orders will appear on screen, and players must quickly use the correct pieces to chop ingredients, cook them, and assemble dishes before time runs out. As you progress, recipes become more complex and require faster coordination and smarter sequencing to keep up with demand.

FAQs

What is the Daily Special? Daily Special is a new game mode with new levels that refresh every day at midnight local time. There are three difficulty tiers, and all players see the same levels each day:

  • Mild: 4 recipes from 2 restaurant types (American, Italian), up to 10 ingredients, 15 orders per day. Complete the Italian Ristorante to unlock this tier.

  • Medium: 6 recipes from 4 restaurant types (adds Mediterranean, BBQ), up to 12 ingredients, 20 orders per day. Complete the BBQ restaurant to unlock this tier.

  • Spicy: 8 recipes from 5 restaurant types (adds Mexican), up to 14 ingredients, 30 orders per day. Complete the Mexican Cantina to unlock this tier.

How do I unlock the Daily Special and where do I find it? Each difficulty tier unlocks by progressing through standard restaurants. On the map, you’ll see connections between the and Daily Special levels. They appear on the world map as street food stands or trucks. You can replay, restart, or continue levels, and your high score is tracked for that specific day.

Why do I need to use plates now? How does dishwashing work? All food must now be placed on a plate before it can be served. You can’t move food directly to a customer ticket. In standard restaurant levels, plates respawn automatically. In the Daily Special, used plates become dirty and must be cleaned before reuse. Dirty plates collect in the Bus Tub and can be cleaned at the Dishwasher using the Sponge piece. Any unwashed plates at the end of a level will reduce your score due to a cleaning penalty.

How do I check recipes faster? You can now tap items directly on customer tickets to open the recipe!
