  • Competitive Mode: Race head-to-head across opposite sides of your Board to rescue your Bloogs first while using hazards to slow down your opponent.

  • New worlds and hazards: Explore Fool’s Gold Island across pirate ships, beaches, jungles, caves, and more.

What You Need

The Bloogs Blitz: Fools Gold piece set (10 pieces) – includes: (2) cannons, (4) ramps, (2) lanterns, and (2) tunnels. (Note: the piece set for the original Save the Bloogs game is not used in Bloogs Blitz.)

How to Play

Tutorial

Bloogs Blitz includes a How to Play guide directly on your Board. From the game start screen, select “How to Play”.

From there, you can switch between:

  • Pieces: Learn what each physical piece does and play an interactive tutorial for each one.

  • Rules: Review the rules and objectives for Cooperative and Competitive Modes.

  • Hazards: Learn about the hazards you’ll encounter and how they affect gameplay.

  • Puzzles: Learn the different game mechanics necessary to complete levels.

Cooperative Mode

Cooperative Mode is a two-player mode where each player controls Bloogs on one half of the screen.

Work together to collect all of the colored orbs and Gold Coins. Once the coins have been collected, activate the portals and guide every Bloog to safety. The level is complete once all Bloogs on both sides have been rescued.

Coordination is important! Make sure both portals are activated before sending Bloogs through, or one player may get stuck. Be careful! Every level has a time limit. Finish quickly to earn all of the treasure!

Competitive Mode

Competitive Mode is a two-player race to rescue your Bloogs before your opponent.

Collect all of the Gold Coins and deliver them to your portal to activate it. Then guide all of your Bloogs through the activated portal.

You’ll also find Power-up Boxes marked with “?” throughout the level. Collect them to unlock hazards that you can send to your opponent’s side of the Board to slow them down.

The first player to rescue all of their Bloogs wins.

How to Use the Pieces

Interactive tutorials for every piece are available under How to Play → Pieces.

  • Ramps — Allows Bloogs to climb the yellow side of the ramp. The blue side can block Bloogs' paths and some hazards.

  • Cannons —Launches Bloogs. Can break certain walls and destroy some hazards.

  • Tunnel — Allows Bloogs to travel through walls and floors without breaking them.

  • Lantern —Prevents Bloogs from panicking in the dark. Use it to illuminate their path in dark levels. Can also scare away ghosts.

Hazards

Bloogs Blitz introduces hazards that can change how you approach each level. Some are part of the environment, while others can be sent to your opponent during Competitive Mode.

For a complete list of hazards and instructions for handling them, open How to Play → Hazards from the Bloogs Blitz start screen.

Scoring & Treasure

In Cooperative Mode, you can earn up to three golden treasures per level.

Each level has its own time-based goals. The faster you complete the objective and rescue your Bloogs, the more treasure you’ll earn.

Check the Objective before starting a level to see the time required to earn one, two, or three golden treasures.

For example, completing the first level in the following amount of time earns you the following golden treasure reward:

  • 3 golden treasures — 5:00

  • 2 golden treasures — 8:00

  • 1 golden treasure — 10:00

Interactive Elements

Some Bloogs Blitz levels include interactive elements, such as boats and elevators. These areas are part of the level itself and cannot be used with physical pieces.

If you place a piece on or too close to an interactive element, it may not register or work as expected. Move the piece farther away from the boat, elevator, or other Interactive Element and try again.
